The Coconut Shell Art Competition was successfully held on 19th November, 2026 in our school campus. The event aimed to encourage creativity, environmental awareness and the effective use of natural and waste materials among students. The competition was conducted under two categories :
Category I : Classes V – VII
Category II : Classes VIII – X
The Students enthusiastically participated and showcased their artistic talents by transforming simple coconut shells into beautiful and useful articles. The young artists displayed great imagination and skills in creating items such as flower vases, pen stands, lamps, decorative showpieces bird feeders, jewellery boxes and wall hangings. The creativity, neatness, originality and overall presentation of the articles were highly appreciated by the judges. Each participant demonstrated patience and dedication while crafting their eco – friendly masterpieces. The exhibition of the finished products reflected the importance of recycling and sustainable living.
The competition not only enhanced the students artistic abilities but also instilled a sense of responsibility towards environmental conservation. The event concluded with the announcement of winners from both categories and certificate were distributed to appreciate their efforts. Overall, the coconut shell art competition was a grand success and a memorable learning experience for all.
