The 79th Independence Day of our country was celebrated on 15th August, 2025 in the school hall at 8 : 15 a.m. The day began with the hoisting of the national flag at the hands of our school Manager, Rev. Fr. Vicente Leonardo Leitão in the presence of our Headmistress, Madam Lona da Silva, Physical Education Teacher, Sir Fredrick Fernandes, Teachers and students.
The Programme began with a short prayer service followed by a speech on the importance of the day by a secondary student. The primary students performed an energetic patriotic dance. The secondary students enacted a street play in Hindi with a message that the citizens should respect each others freedom and treat every human being with dignity. The vote of thanks was proposed by Tr. Alpha Mendes. The programme ended with slogans raised by all the students saying Vande Matram ! Bharat Mata ki Jai ! Jai Bharat ! Jai Goa !
